Brockville Rained Out, Schedule updated
BROCKVILLE-Mother Nature claimed her second win of the season on Saturday as heavy afternoon rains have prompted officials to cancel the racing program at Brockville Ontario Speedway. The double modified and street stock features scheduled for the program have now been shifted to Saturday August 9th, 2008 as a result.
Next week on August 2nd, Brockville Ontario Speedway hosts event number 4 in the Canadian DIRT Challenge Series for 358 Modifieds. The small blocks will run time trials beginning at 6:30, along with heats and a 100 lap finale. The series includes events at six different tracks throughout Eastern Ontario, Quebec and Northern New York. The Lucas Oil Sportsman series will also be part of the bill next week with the final event in a four race slate in Northern New York and Eastern Ontario. Brockville Points Leader Chris Raabe has won the first two features in the Sportsman clash. The first green flag of the night is scheduled for 7pm.
